INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR)

Introduction

This information notice is provided for the website “suemyrome.it” (Site) owned by SUEMY TOMEI, with code assigned to all facilities intended for tourist use IT058091C1ZQPJAVOY (Data Controller), as Data Controller pursuant to the GDPR.

Registration

The information and data requested upon registration will be used to allow you both to access the reserved area of the Site, and to use the online services offered by the Data Controller to registered users.

Marketing

With your prior consent, the Data Controller may process the personal data you have provided in order to send you advertising materials and/or newsletters relating to its own or third-party services.

Profiling

With your prior consent, the Data Controller may process your personal data for profiling purposes, that is, for the analysis of your consumption choices through the detection of the type and frequency of your visits, in order to send you advertising materials and/or newsletters relating to its own or third-party services, specifically of your interest.

In compliance with the GDPR, we hereby inform you that the Data Controller will process your personal data under the following conditions.

Purpose and legal basis of the processing. Mandatory or optional provision. Consequences of refusal to provide data.

The processing of personal data is aimed at achieving the following purposes:
a. to allow registration on the Site and access to services reserved for registered users, as well as to ensure compliance with obligations deriving from laws or regulations in force, in particular in administrative, accounting, or public security matters. The legal basis of the processing is the need for the Data Controller to carry out pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject or to fulfill a legal obligation;
b. with your prior consent, for the sending of newsletters and for carrying out market surveys, including those aimed at assessing the level of user satisfaction, and the sending of advertising materials relating to the services of the Data Controller and/or third parties, by means of systems such as email (marketing purposes); with your prior consent, for the development of your commercial profile, by detecting and analyzing your choices and habits, in order both to monitor customer satisfaction levels, and to send you advertising materials relating to the services of the Data Controller and/or third parties, specifically of your interest, by means of systems such as email (profiling purposes). The legal basis of the processing is the consent of the data subject;
c. to respond by email, telephone, or post to your requests. Providing this data is optional, but your refusal will make it impossible for the Data Controller to respond to your requests. The legal basis of the processing is the legitimate interest of the Data Controller in responding to user requests. This legitimate interest is equivalent to the user’s interest in receiving a reply to communications sent to the Data Controller.

Consent to the processing of your data for marketing and profiling purposes is purely optional. Failure to give consent will have exclusively the consequences described below.

Failure to consent to the processing of data for marketing purposes will make it impossible for you to receive advertising materials relating to the services of the Data Controller and/or third parties, as well as for the Data Controller to carry out market surveys, including those aimed at assessing user satisfaction, and to send you newsletters.

Failure to consent to the processing of your personal data for profiling purposes will make it impossible for the Data Controller to develop your commercial profile by detecting your choices and habits, and to send you advertising materials relating to the services of the Data Controller and/or third parties, specifically of your interest.

Without prejudice to the above, it is understood that the Data Controller may in any case use your personal data solely in order to correctly fulfill the obligations provided for by applicable laws and the obligations deriving from the contractual relationships in place between you and the Data Controller.

We remind you that you may object to the processing of your personal data also through a specific link present at the bottom of any promotional email sent by the Data Controller.

The Data Controller does not process special or judicial data.

In case of accessing the Site you may receive a notification on your device (fixed and/or mobile) that will give you the possibility to allow or not the detection of the device itself (so-called geo-location). You may freely allow or refuse this setting, without this having any consequence on the functionality of the Site. Data relating to the location of the device will in no way be collected and/or stored by the Data Controller. The legal basis of the processing consists in the legitimate interest of the Data Controller in providing services relevant to the location of the user. This legitimate interest is equivalent to the user’s interest in receiving services as relevant as possible to their location.

Art. 2. Processing methods
The processing of your personal data will mainly be carried out with the help of electronic or otherwise automated means, in accordance with procedures and using tools suitable to guarantee their security and confidentiality in accordance with the GDPR.
